Celebrating the Goddess RISING! Conference
October 30th - Nov 1st, 2009
NOLA/Metairie/Harahan, Louisiana
Due to the sudden necessity of a locale change, we are working to keep the
authors on our schedule, either for separate events, on the formerly scheduled
dates, or for the CON itself, on the new dates. The change does lend itself to
enhancing by far, our greater community/visitor 'things to do' for October!
Will post updated info asap.
Participating, to date, are our friends, KERR CUHULAIN, with his crew of Knights,
doing an interactive presentation, taking the attendees out and about, and lectures on
FULL CONTACT MAGIC, and MAGICAL PROTECTION. TONY KAIL, will be discussing 'Saving Africa's
Child Witches' and 'Standing Outside the Circle/Standing Within the Circle'.
(NOTE- THE LECTURE LISTED BELOW HAS BEEN POSTPONED TIL A LATER EVENT-new date TBA)

MEMPHIS THREE, and there will be a viewing of the films related to this desecration
of Justice. Her on site experiences and friendship with Pam Echols, as also allowed

Our friend, James Harry will discuss LAAW and our endeavors to support freedom of Religeous Practices.
Susan Kagan will be discussing her work and ideas on Pagan Ethics. Raymond Buckland may be in attendance,
if his schedule allows. WE WILL UPDATE AS WE KNOW.
Our Sister Sallie Glassman, will be again be celebrating The Day of the Dead, with a
Voodoo Rite and with her wondrous 'family', honor the Ancestors of our City.

clothing and white head cover.

presentation of their history, interactive 'visit' to the grave of Marie Laveau, Auction
of 'Lunch with an Author' and then some! The Tattoo Convention will be here in our area,
as will KISS, in concert and the merriment of the annual Halloween Parade.
So TONS of choices and opportunities are there for the taking.
We will begin the Conference with the Cocktail Party, on Friday Night, with a 'meet and greet'
book signing with the Presenters and we will also have new books available, from up and coming
authors. The Opening Party will also include a candle labyrinth. Location: 204 Marmandie Ave, River Ridge, LA
Friday evening there will also be a Party in the Bywater. Sunday will include a visit/personal
rite to Marie Laveau's grave, and tour of a cemetary or two.
More to come, as we get confirmation and response from our other dear friends, who love us
and our city, enough to keep a promise to CPWC, and its clergy, days after Katrina, to come down
and work with us to heal and resurrect Our City.
